PACSA proudly presents,
Persian Jazz Improvisation
A Concert by Sibarg Ensemble
Sunday November 15th
Sibarg is known as one of the precursors in the Iranian Jazz genre, which fuses Western Jazz with Traditional Iranian music. Kyle Molt, Josh Charney, and Ebrahim Poustinchi joined Sibarg in 2010 following their immigration to the United States to create a multicultural program in which original compositions will be performed in different forms such as improvisation, folk songs, and composed pieces. Their performance will be a fusion of Classical and Folkloric Persian music with contemporary Jazz.
