Join PACSA for 2018’s Distinguished Lecture Series, with Professor Hashem Pesaran and Professor Mohsen Milani, moderated by Professor Laurie Brand. This timely and interactive lecture and panel discussion event, with these two leading Iranian scholars, will focus on the various domestic and regional aspects of economic and political challenges facing Iran. We are honored that we could reflect a fraction of diverse Iranian culture in our Nowruz event, which showed a different side of Iran than what is portrayed in mainstream media. This wonderful portrait collection was curated from @maryam_zandi ’s portrait collection called “ Iranian Contemporary Musicians” (چهره های معاصر موسیقی ایران), which was exhibited in Ivan gallery in December. These portraits are available in the book with the same title. Each stand was equipped with a musical piece from the artist that people could hear through headphones. A special thank you to our PACSA members who put a tremendous amount of effort to make this event happen. We would like to thank @farhangfoundation for their generous support of this project.
