About Dr. Naderi:

Dr. Naderi is the Director for Solar System Exploration at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory responsible for such projects as Cassini at Saturn, Juno at Jupiter, DAWN at the Asteroid Belt and GRAIL at the Moon.He led the Mars Exploration Program at JPL for five years – a period that saw successful launch of three missions to Mars including the much heralded twin rovers Spirit and Opportunity. This program has the goal of determining if Mars is, or if it ever was, a habitat for life.Before Mars, he managed the Origins Program, NASA’s ambitious, technology-rich plan to search for Earth-like planets in other planetary systems.
He was most recently recognized by the American Astronautical Society (AAS) with the William Randolph Lovelace II Award for outstanding contributions to space science and technology.
